It is safe to say that the Baton Rouge Gallery is a local art treasure for our city. Something special happens there the first Wednesday of every month. Each month The Baton Rouge Gallery hosts a reception to showcase a new exhibit of featured artists. The reception is always free and open to the public. There is generally live music and light food and beverages at the event. This May is no different.
Join the Baton Rouge Gallery on May 3, 2017, from 7pm-9pm, for the ‘First Wednesday’ Opening Reception for our May 2017 exhibition, featuring the latest work from James Burke, Malaika Favorite, and April Hammock. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display April 30 – June 1, 2017. There is no fee for admission during normal gallery hours (12 – 6 p.m. / Tue – Sun).
Geaux Rouge had an opportunity for a sneak peak of the exhibit at the Slow Food Baton Rouge Dinner In The Field event on Sunday, April 30 and you will not be disappointed at this showcase of these talented contemporary artists. See you there!
